The duties include collaborative execution of the NWTF's museum and hunting heritage center programs at the National Wild Turkey Center in Edgefield. Assisting in the delivery of visitor programs for schools and groups of all ages; maintaining museum collections.



  • Delivery of visitor programs and tours. This includes school field trips and group tours
  • Assisting in the management of the Winchester Museum's exhibits to include exhibit updates, record-keeping, artifact cataloging
  • Assisting with the programming and logistics of the Family Adventure Village at NWTF National Convention and Sport Show in Nashville, TN
  • Community outreach at local schools and events
  • All other duties as assigned.



  • One or two years experience and/or training in museum programming
  • Experience in administering education programming



  • Bachelor's degree in education, natural resources or museum-related field
  • Knowledge of the National Wild Turkey Federation's mission and goals
  • Knowledge of grants and programs that may be associated with conservation education
  • Experience hunting, shooting, fishing, or other outdoor activities



  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds
  • Must be able to sit, stand and bend for long periods of time
